Karni Sena president  murder indicted linked, police suspect land disagreement as reason

Police have Linked two of the indicted in the murder of Rastriya Rajput Karni Sena chairman Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, who was shot dead inside his house by some unidentified assaulters in Jaipur on Tuesday.

One of the indicted has been linked as Rohit Rathore, a native of Makrana Nagaur, while the other bone is Nitin Fouji, native of Haryana’s Mahendragath.

indicted Naveen Shekhawat, Rohit Rathore and Nitin Fauji had met the Karni Sena chief on the rationale of giving a marriage card, according to sources.

Naveen took an SUV auto on rent at the cost of Rs 5,000 per day three days agone for the murder. The auto was taken on rent from an agency located in Malviya Nagar. The indicted had left the auto at the hearthstone of Gogamedi. Sources have verified that liquor bottles were recovered from the auto.

According to sources, the murder could have been a result of a land disagreement. Reportedly, the Karni Sena principal Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was involved in land controversies involving Rohit Godara.

Godara is a notorious gangbanger Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang member who claimed responsibility of the murder soon after the death of the Karni Sena chief.

still, the police are probing the case from other angles too.

specially, a property dealer, Vijendra Singh, was killed last time. The indicted were close to the Karni Sena chief. The police is also probing this murder as vengeance to that murder.

Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena and other community outfits called for a state-wide bandh in Rajasthan on Wednesday, following the payoff of their principal Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi on Tuesday. Through the bandh, the community demanded a judicial inquiry into the matter.

In a CCTV footage, the bushwhackers were seen whipping out their munitions and firing indiscriminately at Gogamedi, who was sitting on a settee opposite them and ultimately fell down. Before fleeing, one of the assaulters shot at a motionless Gogamedi lying on the bottom from close range.

One of Gogamedi’s security guards sustained pellet injuries in the exchange of fire with the assaulters, who had gone to his house in the Shyam Nagar area on the rationale of meeting him, police said.
